John Young is Head of Future Business for Space at BAE Systems. He has two decades of experience in sales and business development within critical sectors such as defence and national security, having held leadership positions at Thales UK and Honeywell. John joined BAE Systems in 2015 and during this time has predominantly focused on the growing space side of the organisation. In his current role, he is responsible for driving forward BAE Systems space strategy and its vision of the future. In his spare time, he is a beekeeper and can be found flying planes, kayaking and skiing.
