Dr Will Crowe

Dr William (Will) Crowe is Co-Founder and CEO of HEO, a Sydney-based company that provides in-orbit satellite inspection and monitoring services through proprietary software by acquiring satellite imagery from space-based sensors.

Will founded HEO Robotics in 2016, while completing his PhD in astrodynamics from the University of New South Wales, Australia. His research focused on the dynamics of spacecraft swarms around asteroids and included a prize-winning paper on satellite missions to asteroids passing through Earth orbit. After earning his PhD in 2018, Will began applying the principles developed during his research to his business.

He quickly found that there were urgent applications to space debris and inspecting damaged and unidentified satellites. Today, Will leads a team to help satellite operators, defence, and governments monitor their assets to help them prevent accidents and optimise their satellite life.
