Gianna Elisa Berlingerio

Mother of three, is currently (from May 2021) Director of the Economic Development Department of the Apulia Region after having headed two of its eight sections.
The department is dedicated to business aid for tangible investments, research and development, internationalisation (including interreg territorial cooperation) and process and product innovation. It also deals with industrial infrastructure and business crises. Action on energy and youth policy completes the picture.In this challenging assignment, she makes use of the experience she gained between Bari and Brussels as a lawyer, mainly in the field of administrative law, the skills she acquired with her specialisation in law and economics of the European communities and her PhD in public economic law.
