Eric Moltzau

Eric Moltzau currently serves as Chief Strategy & Commercial Officer at Skyloom Global Corp., a telecommunications company founded with the mission to develop, deploy, and operate one of the fundamental pieces of tomorrow’s space communication infrastructure to provide data transport services on a planetary scale.

Eric Moltzau brings more than 25 years of experience to his role, which includes all of aspects of Skyloom’s corporate strategy, go-to-market, and partnerships.

Having built a career committed to supporting customers achieve success, Eric believes with grit, collaboration, and trust, ordinary teams can accomplish great things.

Before joining Skyloom, Eric served in Eutelsat and Intelsat in key executive and leadership roles spanning corporate strategy, business development, product development, and government affairs.

Prior to joining the Space industry, Eric served as a senior officer in the United States Air Force with operational assignments in support of Department of Defense and Intelligence Community missions. As a career military officer, Eric brings a unique blend of leadership, space systems development and operations experience supporting US and Allied Forces.

Eric holds a Master of Engineering degree in Space Operations from the University of Colorado and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Arizona State University. He is also a graduate of the Air University’s Air War College and distinguished graduate of Air Command and Staff College.
