Hazuki MORI is the Lead in Space Technology at the World Economic Forum, based in Tokyo, Japan. Joining the Forum in March 2024, she coordinates global and regional space activities. Prior to joining in the Forum, she served as an Expert to the Space Applications Section of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) in Vienna, Austria where she led capacity-building activities under the Access to Space for All initiative, realizing Cubesat deployments, microgravity experimentation, and development of educational content. From 2014 to 2020, Hazuki worked at the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) , holding various roles such as legal affairs and international relations for the Space Transportation Directorate and Research and Development Directorate, external relations for the Business Development and Industrial Relations Department, and as the secretariat of the 2nd International Space Exploration Forum (ISEF2) held in Tokyo in 2018. Hazuki specialized in International Trade Law at Waseda University in Japan and holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from the University of Sussex in the UK. She is an alumna of the International Space University, having participated in the Space Studies Program in 2018 in the Netherlands.
