Kohei Okamura serves as the Director of Business Development at Starlab Space LLC, a US-led transatlantic joint venture among Voyager Space, Airbus, Mitsubishi Corporation, and MDA Space, that is designing, building, and will operate the Starlab commercial space station. He is currently leading the commercial strategy and business development of Starlab. He also spearheads business development within the space industry as a Senior Manager of Space and Defense at Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas). His expertise encompasses commercial Low Earth Orbit destinations and in-orbit services. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a graduate of the University of Tokyo, holding both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering.
