At SoftBank Corp., Masahiko Sunagawa has been involved in projects related to satellite communications for over 10 years. He is currently in charge of the promotion of a ubiquitous network strategy that integrates terrestrial mobile networks and non-terrestrial networks (NTN) including communication satellites. In the past, he has led the development of high-speed technology for satellite-based cellular backhaul and disaster recovery solutions, as well as the promotion of the satellite phone business. In recent years, he has promoted business development using LEO constellations such as Eutelsat OneWeb. Currently, he is also a director of BB Satellite Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary).
