Yasuo ISHII

Mr. ISHII Yasuo received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Tokyo.
He joined JAXA in 1986 and started his career as an engineering researcher for space systems. After he worked as a project engineer, he experienced several management positions at JAXA.
As of April 1, 2024, he was appointed as JAXA Senior Vice President after his 4 years assignment as JAXA Vice President.
