Masayasu Ishida is co-founder, chairman and CEO of SPACETIDE Foundation which is a Tokyo-based nonprofit organization focusing on the development and expansion of the space industry. He is also a Principal of global management consulting firm A.T. Kearney and has over 15 years of consulting experience with focusing on aerospace and automotive. As an acting member of the Japanese government’s Committee on National Space Policy, he has supported the cabinet office and other governmental agencies especially in the context of fostering commercial space businesses. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tokyo.

"Masashi Sato, as Co-founder, Director, and COO of the SPACETIDE Foundation, focuses on promoting and advancing the new space industry through the organization's pioneering private-led space business conference and other initiatives since 2015. Additionally, from 2023, Masashi serves as a Space Tech Advisor at Beyond Next Ventures and is part of its Ecosystem Group. He was part of ispace from 2019 to 2024, during which he contributed to Japan's first space IPO. Prior to ispace, Masashi worked as a strategic business consultant at Nomura Research Institute from 2003 to 2019. He holds a B.S. from the University of Tokyo (2001), an M.S. from the Graduate School of the University of Tokyo (2003), and a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Los Angeles (2013). Masashi is recognized as a ""QZSS Evangelist"" by the Cabinet Office of Japan and serves as a committee member of the ""Committee of Next-gen Geosynchronous Meteorological Satellite"" at the Japan Meteorological Agency."

Nakasuka graduated from University of Tokyo in 1983 and got Ph.D in 1988. He joined IBM Research during 1988-1990, and then worked for Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, University of Tokyo as a lecturer in 1990, as an Associate Professor, and became a Professor in 2004. He is a member of JSASS, SICE, and IAA, and the former Chairperson of IFAC Aerospace Technical Committee and current president of UNISEC-GLOBAL. His major research areas include micro/nano/pico-satellites, autonomy and intelligence for space systems, novel space systems, and guidance, navigation and control of spacecraft. He developed and launched 13 micro/nano/pico-satellites successfully including the world first CubeSat. Member of Space Policy Committee of Japanese government.

After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Chuo University in 2004, he joined a judicial scrivener's office in Tokyo, and after obtaining his judicial scrivener's license in 2007, he engaged in corporate legal consulting, including corporate start-ups and reorganizations. In 2018, he opened his own office, "Judicial Scrivener Nakajima Law Office. In addition to corporate matters, he also assists academic organizations, mainly in the medical field, with their incorporation, and serves as an advisor to various corporations, including public interest corporations, general corporations, and NPOs, mainly providing compliance guidance and supporting the establishment of governance systems. In 2020, he was appointed as an auditor of SPACETIDE, a general incorporated association. In addition to his current position, he also serves as an auditor for the Japanese Society for prehospital emergency life-saving and the Study Group on Clinical Application of Advanced Medicine.

Daisuke Atarashi is a General Manager of Corporate Planning Office at SPACETIDE Foundation, responsible for strategic planning and implementation, sponsorship negotiations, and international collaborations with external parties. In 2016, Hiroaki Fujihara joined an Electrical Manufacturing company as a Satellite System Designer. Currently, he leads the development and design of synthetic aperture radar systems for satellites and is well versed in satellite manufacturing and satellite data utilization. Hiroaki also works with several space companies as a pro-bono member - in January 2020, he began supporting ispace's private lunar exploration program "HAKUTO-R" and since then has been committed to expanding the base of private lunar exploration. Furthermore, in August 2021, he joined PD Aerospace, LTD. to assist with, and support, the development of their rocket engines. He became a member of SPACETIDE Foundation in October 2020 and holds several roles within the organization. Firstly, he oversees the creation of "COMPASS" space business report, which serves as a knowledge base on the progress of new space businesses in Japan and abroad. Since October 2021, he has also been Program Manager of the "Space-Enabled World” initiative, which aims to deepen the connection with the end-user communities of space data, grow existing and emerging space communities, and provide a forum for practical discussions from the lens of the end-user to accelerate the formation of the satellite data market. In addition, in March 2022, he was appointed Program Manager of the Secretariat, directing the overall organizational and operational aspects of SPACETIDE.

After working as an engineer at a research institute of a sanitary ware manufacturer, where Atsushi Yamagata was engaged in research and development of construction methods and welfare equipment, he worked for public institutions and private companies related to welfare, and is now engaged in supporting the development of welfare towns and managing services provided by developers. He is a disaster preparedness checklist evangelist, and has been participating in SPACETIDE since 2015, when it was first held, and contributes to the overall support and coordination of the organization as a program manager at the secretariat.

Hirokazu Mori is PM of Global team at General Incorporated Association SPACETIDE and APAC Business Development Executive of Blue Abyss, which is the world's first private astronaut training firm. He entered the University of Edinburgh directly from the 2nd year, and read Theoretical astrophysics and graduated from the top. He received grant from the Royal Society of Edinburgh and has experience in theoretical cosmology research (gravitational waves and modified gravitational theory). He was active in the Mediterranean as a professional diver, has won awards in the European and Mediterranean areas as a young professional diver, and has been featured in a famous diving magazine. He has experience as a backpacker and has visited about 80 countries so far. After returning to Japan, he works as a business consultant at a major domestic business consulting firm in Japan, consulting on the theme of new business creation, business strategy of space sector, and global DX strategy. He took the stage at the industry track of the Earth observation conference GEOWEEK 2019 sponsored by the Australian government and the event NEXTSPACE Vol4 by young volunteers from the space industry. His hobbies include wreck / underwater cave diving, airplane piloting, piano performance, art, and astrophysics. He hopes to go to the moon as an astronaut.

"Jenna Tiwana works within the Global Team at SPACETIDE Foundation and is also a European Business Development and Partnerships Officer at ispace inc. Previously Jenna was a Management Consultant at Bain & Company for ~4 years, gaining particular experience in Private Equity and Strategy cases. During her time at Bain, she worked in a range of industries and across both London and Tokyo offices. Jenna has two Masters degrees, the first in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southampton and the second in Space Studies from the International Space University where she received the Association of Space Explorer’s Award. In her spare time Jenna also volunteers with non-profit organizations in the space industry from across the world including the Space Generation Advisory Council and the British Interplanetary Society.

As a student, Hiroki Minematsu participated in a small spacecraft development project through industry-government-academia collaboration. Mr. Aoki is a partner in charge of space & robotics at Global Brain Corporation. After obtaining a master’s degree in aerospace engineering in the US, he developed the “Kounotori” spacecraft at Mitsubishi Electric and won a number of awards. He now oversees investment activities for space and other deep tech startups as a venture capitalist. As a “Space Business Evangelist”, he is also helping to create a private sector-led space industry and co-founded SPACETIDE Foundation and Space Port Japan Association. Atsushi Mizushima is a partner of Nishimura & Asahi, Japan’s largest law firm. He supports management of blue-chip companies and rising startups in their strategic actions including M&A, new business creation, business alliance, fundraising and IP strategy. Earlier, he was a starting member (business director) of WHILL, Inc., a Silicon Valley-based startup, where he achieved two rounds of VC fundraising (USD13MM). He also takes positions of the Committee Member of Governmental Task Force for Issue Identification for the Environment Surrounding Space Businesses held by Japanese Government, as well as the Vice Chair of Space Law Committee of First Tokyo Bar Association.
