SPACETIDE and Geospatial World Sign MoU to Foster Collaboration Between the Geospatial and Space Industries
SPACETIDE2025 to Feature Japan’s First Geospatial Data Special Event in Collaboration with Geospatial World
SPACETIDE, a leading association dedicated to creating new waves in the space business since 2015, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Geospatial World, a globally recognized non-profit organization based in India, led by Founder & CEO Sanjay Kumar. This partnership aims to promote cooperation between the geospatial and space industries, addressing shared challenges and fostering mutual growth.
Since its inception, SPACETIDE has been dedicated to developing a robust space industry ecosystem. As the space economy is projected to reach $1.8 trillion by 2035, the integration of space technologies with terrestrial industries has become essential for unlocking new opportunities.
Geospatial World, known for its expertise in geospatial data, operates globally as a non-profit organization. Headquartered in India, it has hosted conferences across over 35 countries, offering global insights and solutions through market research and policy recommendations, and driving innovation across a wide range of industries.
The partnership will leverage the strengths of both organizations to tackle socioeconomic challenges and promote industrial innovation in the Asia-Pacific region.
As an initial step under this MoU, SPACETIDE2025 – the 10th edition of SPACETIDE’s international space business conference – will host Geospatial World’s inaugural Japan-based special event on geospatial data. Scheduled from July 7–10, 2025, at Toranomon, Tokyo, this event will provide a global platform for fostering synergies between the space industry and geospatial technologies, as well as other relevant industries.
Further details about the event’s program and speakers will be announced in due course.
I am delighted to announce this significant partnership with Geospatial World, which represents an important step toward bridging the geospatial and space industries. I am also thrilled to reveal that our collaboration will take center stage at SPACETIDE2025, which will mark the 10th anniversary of our flagship conference. By integrating the geospatial community and user industries with the space sector, we aim to accelerate growth and innovation, not only in the Asia-Pacific region but globally.
